What is a TIP?

A qualified business “TIP” is a company or person who is interested in a specific service or product and is expecting a call from a LeTip member. Active members pass “TIPS”, or business opportunities on to other members on a weekly basis. You will be able to make contact with individuals you otherwise would never have met.

How many categories are in LeTip?

From dog walkers to data recovery, there is a perfect place for your business in one of more than 700 categories represented. If your business does not fall under one of the identified categories, and you feel your company could be a good fit, please contact us to see if you are eligible.

How do I join the group?

Please join us!
We believe in networking! It comes from feeling comfortable giving business to the person sitting next to you.
If your category isn’t already represented,  you can attend up to 2 meetings free of charge to experience LeTip, get to know us, and determine if it’s a good fit for your business. If you join you are no longer out there selling on your own; you now have a sales force of professional local business people bringing you qualified leads every week.
And remember, once you join, you “own” your category and your competition is excluded from joining our chapter.

What is a meeting like? When do I get to Showboat, Greet, and Speak?

Our Breakfast Meetings are every Tuesday: 7:01 am-8:31 am
We meet at iHOP: 1101 NE Highway 99W, McMinnville, OR 97128
After the board members give short reports, the Chapter’s Program Chairperson introduces the members scheduled for that days program. The first week of the cycle you Greet; the second week you Showboat; and the third week you are the Speaker. As a Showboater, you bring items or a display in that represents your business that may act as a lead in for when you are speaking. As a speaker, you have 8-10 minutes to give a presentation on your business. Once a new member has attended a Network Training Seminar, they will be added to the rotation.

Why does LeTip have fines?

The answer is one of accountability. Fines are not meant to be punitive. Most of the fines LeTip imposes on its members are small and only serve as a reminder that you have certain obligations to your fellow members and your chapter as a whole. We want you to be successful, and following the guidelines helps facilitate that outcome. In actuality, fines only amount to $1.50 a month for most LeTip members.
